The path so far

A background in the Microsoft world, then the choice of free software. For about ten years it has been the only thing I work with.

    Odoo Community in the age of AI

    I talk about it to businesses alongside the LibreOffice Conference in Pordenone, and on October 24 I teach in the business software track at Linux Day.

  2. 2025

    The Italian localization

    Re-elected to the board, I follow the association's project to improve Italian accounting in Odoo, version after version.

  3. 2024

    OCA Days, Liège

    I bring the international community a proposal on how to organize the repositories: one public, one for members.

  4. 2022

    Sprint Days in Pordenone

    I organize the association's two-day development sprint at the Polo Tecnologico in Pordenone.

  5. 2019

    The Odoo Italia board

    I join the board of the Associazione Odoo Italia. In March the Odoo group hosts a development sprint on the 3D view in Pordenone.

  6. 2018

    The PNLUG Odoo group

    I become its coordinator. The group builds Ordina Facile, which that summer handles the orders of four village food festivals.

    First time on stage

    At the Open Design Conference in Pordenone, with Andrea Piovesana: Odoo, its technical foundations and its way of thinking.

    Odoo, since version 10

    Since then I have been installing and configuring Odoo Community with OCA modules for small and medium businesses.

    My first computer

    A ZX Spectrum, plugged into the family TV. That is where it all starts.

What I write, anyone can read.

On GitHub I have reviewed more than 120 pull requests in the OCA repositories, most of them in the Italian localization: e-invoicing, VAT registers, declarations of intent. For the PNLug Odoo group I wrote the OCA module mgmtsystem_nonconformity_hr, available from version 12 to 19, and the first stock_close_period for inventory closing, later carried on by the community.
